Financial advice is comprised of two vital phases: Initial Advice and Ongoing Advice.
Initial Advice involves uncovering new information and devising unique strategies. This incurs a one-time initial cost for advice and implementation based on the complexity and value provided. This process include six primary stages and four meetings elaborated in detail below.
Ongoing Advice is essential for staying informed about your financial affairs. It includes regular reviews, investment adjustments, and access to various resources, which are tailored to your needs and personal situation.
The process detailed below focuses on guiding you through the Initial Advice process and will provide insight into what you can expect throughout your journey with us.
Embark on your path to success with a complimentary 15-minute Initial Introduction call. We'll explore your current situation and high-level aspirations, and discuss how our services can facilitate your progress.
There's no cost associated with this meeting, which will last for about 15 minutes on the phone. If we identify potential value, we can move forward to booking a Discovery Meeting.
Initial Consultation: Understanding your needs.
During our Discovery Meeting, we will thoroughly discuss your circumstances and gather comprehensive information through a Fact Find. This process involves obtaining details on your assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and levels of risk tolerance.
We will also work to refine your objectives further so that we can develop a plan to achieve them. Your Discover Meeting will typically go for an hour, with no charges incurred, and is available both virtually and in-person for those situated in Victoria. After examining your information, we'll organise a Strategy Meeting to discuss tailored strategies to meet your goals.
Discovery: Understanding your unique situation.
After a comprehensive review of your circumstances, we'll meet for a Strategy Meeting to delve into approaches that are tailored to your needs. We'll propose strategic options and then tailor them to your comfort level.
This meeting will be conducted virtually and is expected to last about thirty minutes. After refining the strategy to suit your comfort and objectives, we'll proceed to sign an Initial Advice Agreement, where all costs will be clearly displayed. Subsequently, we'll prepare your Statement of Advice (SOA) legal document.
Strategy Development: Tailoring your advice to you.
In your Presentation Meeting, we'll go over the strategy outlined in your Statement of Advice (SOA). We'll thoroughly discuss the outcomes and value proposition, elaborating on the benefits of our guidance, the potential trade-offs involved, the estimated timeline for implementation, and crucially, how it will advance you towards achieving your objectives.
The duration of this meeting ranges from one hour to 90 minutes and can be conducted virtually or in person, depending on your location. Following this, we will guide you through the necessary documentation and proceed with implementation based on the recommendations you've endorsed.
Presentation of Advice: Understand your future.
We'll diligently execute the recommendations and advice strategies you've agreed to proceed with. The implementation process can take anywhere from one week to over four weeks depending on the strategies we are implementing.
Transparency is maintained through regular updates provided to you during this process. We strongly believe in ensuring you're involved and understand fully what we are doing, when we are doing it, and what the expected outcomes are.
The Initial Advice process concludes upon successful implementation of your tailored strategies.
Strategy Implementation: Execution of your advice.
